LEO BAEZ

Since immigrating to the United States, Baez has longed for a meaningful way to share his childhood experiences of walking through groves of cashew trees in his native country of the Dominican Republic with the Greater Boston community and beyond. Opening his shop Cacao, a chocolate café specializing in chocolate confections and drinks, located in Newton Highlands with his fiancé, Perla Rosario, did exactly that. In addition to their extensive menu of chocolates, nuts, and seeds, Baez and Rosario will soon introduce events for the community like nut roasting demos every Saturday afternoon.
