JUDITH YOUNG
Board Member, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston
A graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, Young is a licensed attorney, currently working as an associate general counsel for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and serving as a board member at the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters in Waltham, which provides mentoring opportunities for youth of all backgrounds. Prior to her work at the Commission, Young served as counsel for the Domestic Violence Institute at Northeastern University School of Law where she provided legal services to survivors of domestic violence, assault, dating violence, and harassment. She was the executive director of a Boston-based nonprofit that provided paid internships for young leaders in state and local government and secured over $100k in funds for 49 young leaders during her tenure. Young is also an alumni and board member of the Boston chapter of the New Leaders Council, a national organization founded to train and provide opportunities to progressive leaders.
